The Office of the County Clerk, under the direction of Donna Silberman, provides many vital services to the public that impact the lives of thousands of county residents. These services include: processing of passport applications, business certificates, notary public commissions and pistol licenses. We also record, file and store all county land records and court documents. Some of our noteworthy
accomplishments are:
·Over $1.5 million of grant funds received.
·Utilize latest technology to improve operations, increase public conveniences and cut costs.
·Developed “Return the F.A.V.O.R.” Veteran Discount Program, “Rockland S.A.V.E.S. Lives” Volunteer Emergency Services Discount Program and “Rockland County Unites to Donate Life” Organ Donor Program.
·Provides Small Business Development and Notary Public preparation seminars.
·Produces and disseminates Ready Reference Guide, a comprehensive directory of Rockland County agencies and resources.
·Provide excellent customer service through a “convenient one-stop shopping” approach. This includes extended office hours, mobile services, E-Z pass tags and money order sales, ATM on premises, public drop box, public designated parking spaces, and 24/7 Internet access to records, forms and information through comprehensive website, www.rocklandcountyclerk.com
