We lost one of Brothers in Arms recently, SGT Aaron Blair, and wanted to share information about his service.

He served with the 129th and deployed with the Unit in 2008. Until Valhalla Brother. Please feel free to post your memories or any pictures here for everyone to see.

Newman wants to meet up a little before at Blair's favorite watering hole around 1430(230pm): Bobby Bakers 7418 Cornell rd, KC, MO 64114 and then meet up somewhere after tbd. He said nothing formal and to ear a Hawaiian shirt or 129th shirt and boonie cap. Aaron's brother, Ryan, has invited us all for a get together the night before at his house but I dont have the address yet. The celebration of life will be on June 24th(Aaron's birthday) followed by a BBQ/party times and location when it gets closer.

Over the last 24 months, the food service team has been working their butts off. Tonight, the 129th was recognized for winning the Philip A. Connelly Award for Excellence in Army Food Service.

May 19 is Armed Forces Day. The current Soldiers of the 129th will be participating in a recognition event that day. We would love to see everyone that can attend for this great time. There will be our HET, the wrecker and a few other trucks, a flyover, a band and tons of other things to see and do. It's located at Outlaw Cigar Bar at 13700 Metcalf Ave. Overland Park. 11-4.

On Friday Sept. 15th several members of the 129th spent time at Falcon Lakes Golf course supporting F.I.S.H. by providing vehicles for display as well as vests and helmets for a hole challenge.

This was a FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! day!
