DEATH NOTICE: Patricia Partin, W/F/70 passed away at her residence located in the 1600 block of Grand Avenue in New Castle, IN on October 15th, 2025. It is the understanding of the Henry County Coroner’s Office investigators that Ms. Partin has no living relatives. If anyone has information regarding Ms. Partin please contact our office at 765-465-0908.

We have made contact with the family if Mr. Balsamico. Thank you all for the assistance.

🚨🚨The Henry County Indiana Coroner’s Office is seeking assistance in locating any information on Richard Balsamico. Richard was found deceased at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle, Indiana where he was a resident. He was 63 years old. The only information available is that he may have a friend named Margaret Walters whose location is unknown. Please contact our office with any information you may have at 765-465-0908. 🚨🚨

Chances are, if you grab naloxone (Narcan) out of one of our naloxboxes right now, it'll be frozen.

Don't worry! Let it thaw!

Even if it's been left outside, in your car, or is coming from one of the naloxboxes, and has been frozen, it'll still be good to use after thawing out at room temperature for about 15 minutes.

If you believe someone is in a suspected opioid emergency though, don't wait for it to thaw... call 911!

2 members of the Henry County Coroner’s Office were able to attend this training on scholarships that were awarded by the association.

IACME President Kelly Keyes hosted the Opening Ceremonies this morning in Las Vegas and virtually to 18 countries! The attendees standing received travel scholarships to attend, sponsored by the NNPHI and MPHI. We are thankful for everyone braving travel delays and challenging schedules to attend the Symposium this week. We look forward to a week of collaboration and education!
