Strong ability to develop and maintain cooperative, effective working relationships with other after the Bell leaders, School staff, families, and the community. Extensive problem solving ability. Ability to speak kindly with a child on their level. The willingness and ability to affirm the children and families who participate and after the bill. Being an empathetic listener. Coordinate tasks, including but not limited to; the schedule/routine of events and activities, being able to use the supplies provided, and being able to present materials and information to the children that is provided to you. Work with the supervisor to identify and enlist qualified people to join your team. Obtain and maintain a current CPR AED and first aid certification. Communicate regularly with your supervisor. Capability to accurately document and keep records for after the Bell, examples are: incident reports, sign in sheets, etc. Regularly lead sessions for after the bell. Willingness to meet with supervisor and other after the Bell leaders informal meetings. Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities. Ability to speak in front of a group, telephone, electronic mail, or any other means necessary to communicate effectively. Must maintain a clear Indiana criminal history report. Must maintain good standing within the community. Must maintain the rule of three (always having three people present together for any event, movement, etc.) Other duties as assigned.

We are still accepting kiddos for this school year!

Did you know that our DIVE family is hiring for a new adventure? After the Bell is an after school program that DIVE is championing and we would love to add you to our team.
We are looking for adults (18+) that can work from 2:30-5:30 (or when the last child goes home) Monday-Friday. We would love to speak with you ASAP about this oppotunity. Reach out to us through our page or [email protected].

Here we are again!! 💪. LOVE the teamwork with DIVE!! See you at the Cruise-in!

Saturday, August 6th, 2022 - 5:00 - 9:00 PM Downtown New Castle, IN
Regular Cruise-In AND Kid's Night - To Our Regular Cruiser's: PLEASE COME and SUPPORT the Kids - They are our FUTURE Cruiser's and we want them to enjoy the cars too!
Bring the kids and their pedal cars, power wheels, etc. (No gas powered vehicles and no bikes please) the kids will be parking in the Featured Area (S. Main Street in front of the Courthouse). Other Cruisers will be parked on N. Main Street and in the Citizens State Bank Lot. We are asking our regular cruisers to PLEASE bring school supplies as donations to give away.
Riley & Sons Collision has donated several items that will be given away (including 5 bikes and a Cozy Coupe Car). So be sure to bring the kiddos out to see ALL of the great cars!
---- Other activities include:
- DIVE and After the Bell (formerly Latchkey) programs will be hosting Kid's Corner with games, bounce houses, etc.
- B.A.M. Believe and Achieve Mentoring of Henry County will have a booth, a game for the kids & prizes along with information on how to become a part of the BAM Program as a Mentor or a Buddy!
- Face Painting
- Hot Wheel Races - Each kid will receive a free Hot Wheel
- Hula Hoop Contest
- School Supply Give-A-Way
- Goody Bags for the 1st 100 kids with Candy, Bubbles & several local businesses have donated other items to be included.

- DJ Kevin Green will be spinning your favorite tunes!
