Important Update: Lower Church Street Garage Sidewalk Safety Replacement Schedule

Important Update: Lower Church Street Garage Sidewalk Replacement Schedule

Please be advised of the latest construction schedule affecting the Lower Church Street Garage.

The Church Street entrance is expected to reopen Saturday morning, barring any weather-related issues that may prevent the contractor from completing the concrete work. The concrete pour, previously scheduled for today, had to be rescheduled due to weather and is currently scheduled for tomorrow Friday at approximately 10:30 AM.

Over the weekend:

The Paterson Street entrance will remain open.
One exit will remain available for customers.

Beginning Monday morning, the contractor will remove the remaining concrete on the Paterson Street side. An exit will remain available; however, the Paterson Street entrance will be closed, as the Church Street entrance will be open.

According to the contractor, the project is expected to be completed by Wednesday August 26, weather permitting.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of our businesses, customers, and visitors while this important safety sidewalk replacement work is completed.

We will provide additional updates if the schedule changes due to weather or construction conditions.
We may be reached at 732-236-7546 (24/7)

📢 Parking Update – Easton Avenue, New Brunswick

To make parking more convenient and efficient, the New Brunswick Parking Authority has removed the parking meters along Easton Avenue between Courtlandt Street and Bristol Street.

Parking payments can now be made quickly and easily using any of these mobile payment apps:
✅ ParkMobile
✅ PayByPhone
✅ Passport Parking

For added convenience, simply enter the zone number displayed on the street sign in your preferred parking app to pay for your parking—no need for coins or a parking meter.

This upgrade provides a faster, contactless, and more convenient parking experience as we continue to improve parking services throughout New Brunswick.

Thank you for your cooperation!

♿ Did You Know? Handicap Parking Does Not Automatically Mean Free Parking in New Jersey ♿

A valid disability placard or license plate allows a driver to park in designated accessible parking spaces, but it does not automatically exempt the vehicle from paying parking fees where payment is required.

If you park in a metered space, municipal lot, parking garage, or other paid parking facility, be sure to follow the posted parking regulations and payment requirements unless signage specifically states otherwise.

Always check local parking rules and posted signs to avoid citations and help ensure fair and consistent parking for everyone.

Accessible parking provides access—not necessarily free parking. Please park responsibly and follow all posted regulations.
