Have you ever been told to go to a Bitcoin ATM to “fix” a problem? It sounds strange. But it’s happening every day, including here in New Jersey.

Scammers are convincing people to withdraw cash and deposit it into crypto ATMs, telling them it will “protect” their money. In reality, it goes straight to the scammer, and it’s almost impossible to recover.

One New Jersey woman followed those exact instructions and lost nearly everything in her account.
