With Deep Sadness, We Share the Passing of a Beloved Neighbor
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Burkart, a cherished member of our borough and community whose kindness, vision, and dedication touched countless lives.
For decades, Bruce was more than just a neighbor… he was a guiding light, a tireless advocate for our community, and a friend to us all. Whether organizing historical events, lending a helping hand to those in need, or inspiring the next generation with his wisdom and warmth, Bruce embodied the very spirit of unity and compassion that makes our neighborhood special.
Bruce’s legacy will live on in the history he helped preserve, the meals on wheels program he championed, and the countless moments of joy he brought to our community. We will miss his laughter, his amazing stories, and his unwavering belief in the power of giving back to those in need.
