LVCC's Raising a Reader coordinator, Michele Jehning, led an end-of-year celebration with the students at Little Canes Academy at New Britain High School. Each child took home a bag of books to build home libraries with their families. Special thanks to our partners at Little Canes Academy for a successful first year!

A heartfelt thank you to the The Petit Family Foundation for its generous $5,000 grant supporting Literacy Volunteers of Central CT’s Raising a Reader program.
This support provides families with the tools to help their children build strong early literacy skills and a lifelong love of reading. Together, we are creating brighter futures for the next generation through family literacy. 📚❤️
