🏆 Congratulations to the Pulaski Middle School Flag Football Team on winning its 6th consecutive championship, defeating DiLoreto 65–20 and capping off another undefeated season in remarkable fashion. 🏈
Pulaski was led offensively by Brycen Seals, who threw seven touchdown passes two to Kayden Laboy, two to Knowledge Lauray, two to Elias Quezada, and one to Cameron Longoria. Kayden Laboy also showcased his versatility by throwing a spectacular 40-yard touchdown pass to Brycen Seals, who made an incredible one-handed catch for the score.
Defensively, Pulaski was equally dominant. Kayden Laboy and Brycen Seals each recorded interceptions that were returned for touchdowns. Elias Quezada added two interceptions of his own, including one returned for a touchdown. Strong defensive performances also came from Mylez Mitchell, Ruben Merced, Mkia Nugent, Ay Senithash*th, Keyshlianis Davila, Chrismarlyn De La Cruz, and Keirelys Serrano.
The team finished the season undefeated, marking the program's fifth undefeated season in the last six years. During that span, Pulaski has compiled an extraordinary 47–1 overall record, a testament to the commitment, discipline, and character of every player who has worn the jersey.
From Irizarry: “This championship was especially meaningful—and bittersweet—for me. As I walked onto the field for this final game, I knew it would be my last time coaching at Pulaski. While ending on a championship is something I will always cherish, saying goodbye to a program, a school, and a group of young people who have meant so much to me is not easy.
To all of the players, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the season. A special thank you to those who have been with me since sixth grade, as well as the newcomers who embraced our culture and helped make this team successful. I am incredibly proud not only of what you accomplished on the football field but also of the effort many of you put forth in the classroom. Watching you grow as students, athletes, and young adults has been one of the greatest rewards of coaching.
To the parents, there are truly no words that can fully express my gratitude. Thank you for your unwavering support throughout the years and throughout this season. Thank you for entrusting me with your children and allowing me the privilege of helping guide and coach them. Your encouragement, sacrifices, and belief in this program have been invaluable.
Also, a huge shout-out and heartfelt thank you to Ms. Desiree Classen and Mr. Alfredo Serrano for generously providing the team with their game shirts this year. Your support and kindness meant so much to our players and helped make this season even more special. Thank you for your generosity and for supporting our team.
To our biggest supporters, Ms. Lanz and Ms. Corbo, thank you for being there every game and cheering on our students. Your dedication goes far beyond athletics. Thank you for everything you do for these kids in the classroom, throughout the school day, and beyond school walls. Your support and care have made a lasting impact on countless students. Much love and appreciation to both of you.
To the players who will be returning next season, continue to work hard, support one another, and carry on the tradition of excellence. Bring that championship trophy back to Pulaski next year.
And to those heading off to high school, make NBHS proud. Continue to pursue your goals with the same determination and work ethic that helped make this team successful. I look forward to seeing many of you on the football field in the years ahead, and I cannot wait to see you walk across the graduation stage four years from now.
Thank you for the memories, the championships, the laughter, and the lessons. Being your coach has been an honor and a privilege that I will never forget.
Once a Pulaski Champion, always a Pulaski Champion.”
