On behalf of the department, we are grateful for and thankful to the Racing for Relief and the Eldora Foundation for the generous donation this year. Our NBFD members worked 50/50 sales for 5 races and participated in the Bowling and Golf outing events hosted by Racing for Relief. Last year, we purchased SCBA packs and RIT bags. This year we're looking to continue to put the funds to good use through a variety of upgrades.
The Racing for Relief members put in many hours of work to support various organizations like ours.
If you see any or know any Racing for Relief members, please let them know how much we appreciate what they all do for the local communities.

Congradulations to New Bremen Fire Dept.

Have a plan and practice It, every second counts. Having a well-practiced home fire escape plan can make all the difference for you and your loved ones.

➡️Know two ways out of every room.
➡️Keep exits clear and easy to use.
➡️Set a safe meeting place outside.
➡️Practice your drill at least twice a year.

Take the time to make a plan and practice it with your family.

Buy only listed products. When buying a product that uses a lithium-ion battery look for a safety certification mark such as UL, ETL, or CSA. This means it meets important safety standards.

What an incredible celebration of Fire Prevention Week 2025! We're thrilled that we were joined us at the station with the kids and got to share the trucks and going to the schools as well. This gives us a great opportunity to inspire young minds with crucial fire safety knowledge! Hopefully, kids and adults were among the fortunate ones who caught a fire safety footballs at the home game - what an exciting moment! (ABC CENTER, YMCA DAYCARE, NB ELEMENTARY)

Come on down to the NBFD Firemen's Picnic 2025 today and tonight! We've got the essentials covered: ice-cold drinks to beat this heat and piping hot food fresh off the grill that'll make your taste buds do the happy dance.

But let's get real, the main event isn't just the delicious grub or refreshing sips, it's our epic "live entertainment"! And by "entertainment," I mean the kind of moments that'll leave you in stitches... and sometimes end up on video.
