🌸 Celebrating 2 Years of Love & Care! 🌸

Today marks two incredible years since opening our doors and hearts to serve our community’s aging loved ones. What began as a vision has blossomed into a home filled with compassion, dignity, and respect — especially for those on hospice or in their final days.

I feel truly blessed to walk alongside our residents and their families during such meaningful seasons of life. This journey has been humbling, rewarding, and a constant reminder of the power of love and human connection.

To our residents, families, staff, and supporters — thank you for trusting us and allowing us to do this work from the heart. 💛

Today I start my “Silent Journey” with my daddy.
Last week 3/23 I made a post requesting prayers for my Daddy. I was informed by my hospice nurse that my Daddy had transitioned and I needed to prepare for him to depart this life.

The next day after much thought and prayer, I needed to make sure I did absolutely EVERYTHING for Him, so we rushed him to the hospital.

Found out he had a pneumonia and became septic. After several rounds of anti biotics and IV fluids the hospital came to the conclusion that He could no longer swallow and the surgery needed was too invasive for a man of his age and medical history.

We decided as a family that we would bring him to my house for his final days.
It’s been 9 days and my Daddy is still with us hanging on. I suspect it’ll be soon when he crosses the veil and rejoins his parents, brothers and my Quintin.

I strongly believe My Heavenly Father knows how to care for me and prepared me for this journey by allowing me to open my own personal care home.
I’ve learned so much and am grateful to have had my daddy in my home for his finals days here on earth.

Thank you for your love, prayers, support and kind words.
My daddy hasn’t left the building just yet, but I don’t think I’d be able to handle a post like this later.

Thank you again. I’ll update when my daddy finally crosses the veil.
