Town of New Braintree, Massachusetts
Commemorating 275 Years of Community & Character
1751 – 2026

Dear Neighbors, Friends, and Families of New Braintree,
The 275th Anniversary Committee is hard at work planning an unforgettable year of milestones to celebrate New Braintree’s rich history and vibrant community spirit. Our historic year kicks off on Sunday, July 5th with a patriotic free concert by the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band and will culminate on December 31st with a spectacular New Year’s Eve Gala in our beautiful Town Hall to ring in 2027.

The U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band will play in our new pavilion beginning at 2:30 p.m. Bring your blankets, chairs, and snacks and enjoy their wonderful musical offerings!! Building on a legacy of musical excellence, this dynamic ensemble of 45 professional Airmen delivers a concert experience unlike any other!! From the timeless beauty of symphonic classics to the toe-tapping energy of Broadway hits and the stirring emotion of patriotic anthems, the Concert Band’s repertoire is a musical delight for every listener. A highlight will be a performance of the 1812 Overture, complete with cannons!!! For this reason, we ask you to leave your pets at home to avoid frightening them.

At the heart of this milestone year is our hallmark community celebration: Olde Home Day on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 where we will celebrate not only the 275th anniversary of our town, but also the 250th anniversary of our country! This classic town festival will feature a traditional parade, a bustling Farmers Market, children's games, a beer & wine tent, local food trucks, the fun and energetic band Disco Lemonade from 5:30 – 7:30 and a spectacular evening bonfire.

To make Olde Home Day a true reflection of our town's remarkable character, we need you! We are actively seeking volunteers, market vendors, and parade participants to bring this celebration to life. Here is how you can get involved and be a part of New Braintree’s history:

PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITIES:
• Join the Olde Home Day Parade – Floats & Marchers
We are calling on local organizations, farms, families, businesses, historic enthusiasts, and creative individuals to enter a float, tractor, vintage vehicle, or marching group into the 275th Anniversary Parade. Whether it represents our town’s agricultural roots, historic milestones, or your own neighborhood and/or family spirit, we want you in line!

Please email the committee for a registration form at [email protected]

• Farmers Market
Our Olde Home Day Farmers Market will showcase the very best of local agriculture, craftsmanship & artisan goods. We are looking for local farmers, bakers, crafters and creators to host a booth and share their talents with hundreds of attendees.
Spaces are free, limited, and priority will be given to local farmers and vendors. Reach out today to secure your application.

• Festival Volunteers and Event Sponsors
An event of this scale relies entirely on the helping hands of neighbors like you. We need dedicated volunteers for short, flexible shifts throughout the day to assist with children's games, setup and breakdown, logistics, and coordinating activities. If you or your business would prefer to support financially, we also have sponsorship opportunities available.

Thank you for your continued dedication to our community. Let’s make history and celebrate together!!!

Warm Regards,
The New Braintree 275th Anniversary Committee
