Primary hazards for tonight include:
• Damaging winds up to 60 mph
• Isolated large hail

• Large hail

There are several cooling/warming centers available in our area, including:

• Romulus Public Library
• Sumpter Township Community Center
• Southgate Senior Center
• Flat Rock Community Center
• Taylor Sportsplex

Tonight we celebrate and congratulate 2026 Trenton High School Graduate Andrew Czernik.

Andrew is the son of our brother, Officer Phil Czernik, who we unexpectedly lost in March of 2025. Andrew wore a pin as tribute to his dad along with a tattoo of his dad’s work call sign (441).

Our public safety family proudly represented Officer Czernik at tonight’s graduation ceremony. We left a seat open in his honor and remembrance.

We are so proud of you Andrew and we know your dad is looking down with that huge smile beaming with pride!

Enjoy the next chapter of your life and keep dreaming big!
