We were so fortunate to have Joe Brown join us at Carolina SeniorCare - New Bern, filling our center with beautiful, moving music that truly touched everyone in the room. ❤️

Our participants were captivated—smiling, tapping along, and soaking in every note. It was more than just music; it was a moment of connection, joy, and shared experience. Even our staff couldn’t help but stop and enjoy the performance!

✨ Celebrating Geneva’s Incredible Journey! ✨

When Geneva first joined Carolina SeniorCare - New Bern in October 2025, she was understandably hesitant to walk longer distances or spend time outside. At that point, she relied mostly on a wheelchair and was even considering a powerchair for mobility.

But Geneva’s story didn’t stop there—it transformed. 💪

With determination in her heart, she committed to physical therapy 2–3 days a week for three months. During that time, she worked hard to build her strength, improve her balance, and increase her endurance. And the results? Absolutely amazing.

Geneva went from walking a maximum of just 175 feet… to completing a 5K this month alongside her local church and PACE staff! 🎉

Her confidence has blossomed, and her perseverance has truly paid off. Geneva is living proof that with hard work, dedication, and the right support, incredible progress is possible—and that independence at home can be strengthened every single day.

We are so proud of Geneva and everything she has accomplished since joining PACE. Her journey is an inspiration to us all! ❤️👏

Carolina SeniorCare - New Bern will be there as a resource for the aging community, sharing information about how we support older adults in living safely and independently.

☀️🌊 Fun in the Sun with Our PACE Family! 🍦💛

Today was a beautiful day spent by the water with our wonderful PACE family! Our participants enjoyed a relaxing picnic filled with laughter, good company, and plenty of sunshine. 🌞🧺

To top it all off, we cooled down with some delicious ice cream—because nothing says summer like a sweet treat by the water! 🍦😊

Moments like these remind us how special it is to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and create meaningful memories. 💙

Our participants had an absolute blast whipping up their own colorful, sweet-smelling soaps—and WOW, did they get creative! 🌈✨

From swirls of bright colors to scents that made the whole room smell amazing (seriously, we wish Facebook had “scratch and sniff” 🤭), each soap turned out totally unique—just like them!

There was lots of mixing, pouring, laughing, and a whole lot of “Ooooh, smell this one!” 💕

We love seeing everyone’s personalities shine through these fun, hands-on moments. And let’s be honest… these soaps look good enough to eat (but don’t worry—we won’t 😉)!
