Welcome to the City of New Bern Public Utilities page.

Our hope for this page is to create a way for New Bern’s residents and visitors to stay up to date with anything and everything dealing with public utilities; from storm outage information to tips on how to save on your utilities we want the information to get to you quickly and be effective. Please share the page with other residents so they too can stay up to date on all the important information. You can also visit the website at www.newbernnc.gov for information on water and sewer rate, capital recovery and connection fees, how to report water and sewer problems, job openings, power rates, new electric services and requirements, and more.

🧤 Disposable gloves
🧴 Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes
