Bravo to our talented young musicians!

Fifth and sixth grade orchestra students participated in the Elementary Orchestra Solo/Ensemble Festival last Saturday at West. Students performed solos, duets, and trios they prepared during their solo/ensemble unit for an adjudicator.

This year marked a record 145 entries, making for a full and exciting morning with participants from Elmwood, Orchard Lane, Poplar Creek and Ronald Reagan!

What a fantastic performance and learning opportunity for some of our district’s youngest orchestra students!

Music was in the air across SDNB!

In culmination of their solo and ensemble unit and in celebration of Music In Our Schools Month, 5th and 6th grade orchestra students from all of our elementary schools took their talents on tour this week! They performed solos, duets, and trios throughout their schools, showcasing their hard work, growth, and love of music.

Congratulations to all of our talented musicians!
