I would like to know if there would be any interest in a block party to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our great nation this Fourth of July at the North Park (water tower) with food trucks, splash pad, bouncy house, possibly a band or two, vintage cars, trucks and tractors on display as well as the opening of the time capsule that was placed in the park fifty (50) years ago in 1976 during the Bicentennial.
I know that the time is short to organize a celebration, but with the help of the great people of our village, I think it can be done.
This would be a celebration where everyone would be welcome and all of your ideas and support would be appreciated.
This celebration would not be sanctioned by the village, but as an independent group of folks from our community.
I’d like to thank you all in advance and would like to hear your thoughts. If there is any interest in this celebration we could schedule a meeting with all of you who are interested in the park in the next week to get started.
I can be reached at 217-891-1674. Please send me a text and or give me a call with your ideas.
Thank you everyone for your time and consideration,

Mike Krall

We were recently made aware of an error in our in our billing system that affects all customers signed up for direct debit.

The most recent bill show a previous balance for last month on accounts enrolled in AutoPay. Please note that AutoPay payments were successfully processed last monthβ€”however, they were not properly recorded to accounts, which caused the previous balance to appear incorrectly.

βœ… This month’s AutoPay will only draft the current charges due.
βœ… The previous balance shown on your bill can be disregarded.
βœ… The issue has been identified and corrected.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions about your account, please feel free to reach out to us at (217) 488-6312 .
