Notice to Village of New Berlin Residents and New Berlin Library patrons:

From June 21st to July 10th, the New Berlin Library and the Village of New Berlin’s Office (13-15 South Main Street) will be painted with portions of the facade repaired. During this time, please be aware of ladders and cones on the sidewalk outside of the library and village office. All work will be performed during daylight hours. The building was previously scrapped and appropriately encapsulated so there should be no unhealthy exposure issues. See attached rendering:

Reminder of Primary elections in New Berlin: A few weeks ago, registered New Berlin voters received a mailing regarding New York State's primary elections. This year, Chenango County will conduct primary elections, at the Chobani Center on South Main Street from 6AM to 9PM on June 23d. New Berlin voters registered as Republicans will be offered the opportunity to vote for a candidate for the 19th Congressional District. Voters registered as Democrats will be voting for their party's candidate for NY State Comptroller. There are no other positions on either party's ballot. Further information about these elections can be obtained by contacting the Chenango County Board of Elections at 607-337-1760

On Wednesday, May 27 at 9:00am, the Village Board of Trustees will meet to approve two time-sensitive matters: 1) interior painting the Village's rear apartment to expedite listing. 2) the replacement hiring of two medical providers for the New Berlin Ambulance Service.
