Reminder for City of New Bedford residents - NB Alert delivers reliable, timely updates before, during, and after emergencies, sent straight to your phone or email.
You’ll receive alerts about severe weather, evacuation notices, parking bans and other important City updates.

All accounts must be linked to a New Bedford home or work address, and the information is kept confidential.

Beach season is here! All of the City's beaches are OPEN for swimming following this week's water testing by the New Bedford Health Department Laboratory.
