You’ll receive alerts about severe weather, evacuation notices, parking bans and other important City updates.

All accounts must be linked to a New Bedford home or work address, and the information is kept confidential.

Beach season is here! All of the City's beaches are OPEN for swimming following this week's water testing by the New Bedford Health Department Laboratory.

New Bedford Health Department Program Director & Community Health Worker Luz Ortega was selected to speak on a panel at the Health Equity Compact Trends Summit put on by the Massachusetts Association of Community Health Workers in Boston.

As the founder and coordinator of the Southeast United Network of Community Health Workers, Luz continues to champion the CHW workforce and we could not be more proud!
