Help spread the word about this FREE community event happening on Saturday, September 19 from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. in New Bedford!

There will be paper shredding, clothing and household goods drop off, a toy and children’s book swap, bicycle repair and donation, and dehumidifier turn in opportunities.

📍 Activities will take place at Keith Middle School and New Bedford High School, depending on the service.

On Patriot Day, Coastline pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders, volunteers, service members, and everyday people who came together in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we reflect on the courage, compassion, and resilience that carried communities through an unimaginable time. We are also reminded of the importance of caring for one another, especially older adults, caregivers, families, and neighbors who may need support.

Today, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Our second feature is Information & Referral! Coastline’s Information & Referral specialists are here to help older adults, caregivers, and families find the support they need, without having to know exactly where to start.

Finding the right resources can feel overwhelming. Our specialists take the time to listen to your needs, explain available options, and connect you with a Coastline program or another community organization that can help.

You don’t have to know which program you need. Start with Coastline, and we’ll help guide you in the right direction.

Our first feature is Meals on Wheels! Every weekday, Coastline delivers approximately 1,600 nutritious meals to local older adults who have difficulty leaving their homes.

For many older adults, a Meals on Wheels driver may be one of the few people they see that day. Along with delivering a nutritious meal, our drivers provide a friendly visit and an important wellness check, helping older adults feel connected, supported, and safe at home.

The program also offers reassurance to families and caregivers, knowing that someone is checking in on their loved one each weekday.

Today, Coastline proudly celebrates 49 years of service to our community! 💙💛

Since 1977, Coastline has been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of older adults, caregivers, and families throughout our region. And while today is an incredible milestone on its own, it also marks the beginning of something even bigger…

One year from today, Coastline turns 50!

To celebrate this historic milestone, we're kicking off a special year-long campaign:

⭐ 50 YEARS. 50 WAYS WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE. ⭐

Over the next 50 weeks, we'll highlight a different Coastline program, service, resource, or impact, sharing the many ways our incredible staff, partners, volunteers, and community have helped us fulfill our mission over nearly five decades.

Some you may know well. Others may surprise you!

Our hope is that by the time we reach our 50th anniversary, you'll know a little more about who Coastline is, what we do, and the difference we make every single day.
