This Labor Day, we honor the hardworking men and women who keep our communities and economy moving forward.

The labor movement is personal to me. My mother (SEIU 509) and father (UFCW 328) were union leaders, and they taught me to stand with people when they need someone in their corner. From them, I learned to listen, show up, fight for fairness, and treat every worker with dignity and respect.

Labor Day honors generations of union members who fought for fair wages, safe workplaces, strong benefits, and the protections families rely on today.

I am proud to stand with our workforce and grateful for the support of the Greater Southeastern Massachusetts Labor Council.

As your next State Representative, I will fight for workers’ rights, good-paying jobs, and greater opportunity for families across the South Coast.

To workers in Dighton, Somerset, Swansea, Taunton, and beyond: thank you for all you do. Have a safe and happy Labor Day!
