Firefighters work long 24 hour shifts, so planning meals becomes part of the everyday duties. The picture represents a quick meal prepared during a busy day. “BELTS” or bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato seem to be a popular choice on all three shifts. 🥪🥓🍳🥬🍅

With the support of our residents, partners, and elected officials, and a generous land donation from The New Albany Company, we are grateful to celebrate the groundbreaking for Fire Station 122. This station was strategically located as part of our 2023 Master Plan and included in the 2024 fire levy request. Our trustees, fire chiefs, and administration are excited to begin this project.

Located in north New Albany on State Route 605 at New Albany Road East, Station 122 will improve our emergency response capabilities and service coverage for a growing community. Thanks to the many community partners and residents who joined us for this wonderful event. We appreciate all of you!

Every May, Ohio lights up blue in remembrance of those who gave everything. Tonight, the Light Ohio Blue procession began in New Albany. Plain Township is grateful for all of our brothers and sisters in blue!

Plain Township Fire Department would like to congratulate Firefighter/Paramedic's Daniel Logan and Austin Gootee for receiving the Mount Carmel East "EMS Excellence in Trauma Care" Award. This award was given in recognition of exceptional emergency care while responding to an auto accident involving a motorcycle. Congratulations!!

Plain Township is accepting bids for the construction of Fire Station 122 to be built at 7373 New Albany-Condit Road, New Albany, OH 43054. The following public notice has been posted:

Sealed Bids for the construction of the “Plain Township Fire Station 122” project shall be received by Plain Township Fire, 9500 Johnstown Rd, New Albany, OH 43054, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 according to the documents as prepared by Schorr Architects, Inc., 230 Bradenton Avenue, Dublin, Ohio 43017. The bids will be publicly opened and read at that time.

The Project is subject to Ohio prevailing wage requirements. Wage rates can be obtained from the Ohio Department of Commerce web portal. The project is located in Franklin County.

The Contract Documents may be reviewed for bidding purposes without charge during business hours at the office of Schorr Architects, Inc., 230 Bradenton Avenue, Dublin, Ohio 43017, Plain Township Fire Department, 9500 Johnstown Rd, New Albany, OH 43054, and online at www.dcplanroom.com.
