πŸ›‘ THIS INFO / ALERT IS NO LONGER CURRENT / ACTIVE πŸ›‘

Our best chance for accumulating snowfall so far this winter is expected late Monday night into Tuesday as a storm system moves through the region.

A mix of precipitation types is expected across Kentucky, with mostly snow expected across southern Indiana. Most areas will change over to snow before precipitation ends around dawn Tuesday morning. There is also the potential for brief moderate to heavy snowfall rates which could lead to a couple inches of snow accumulation in a short period of time.

The timing of this system will likely lead to a slick commute Tuesday morning as temperatures fall below freezing.
