Spotlight: Caesars Foundation of Floyd County

“There’s something powerful about seeing a community come together across the river for a shared purpose,” said Executive Director Tyler Bliss of the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County. “Give for Good Louisville reminds us that the impact we create doesn’t stop at a city limit. When we support one another across our region, we’re investing in stronger communities, deeper connections, and a future we’re all a part of long after the giving day ends.”

While “Louisville” is in the name, Give for Good Louisville is truly a regional effort—supporting organizations not only in Kentucky, but also across Southern Indiana in Clark, Floyd, and Harrison counties.

As a returning Prize Leader, the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County helps ensure Floyd County organizations have even more opportunity to succeed by creating a dedicated match pool. That means eligible Floyd County nonprofits can receive up to 10% of their total dollars raised matched dollar-for-dollar, giving their work an extra boost on giving day.

Last Friday, in partnership with the City of New Albany, we were proud to officially dedicate the clock in front of the former J.O. Endris Jewelers on Pearl Street in memory of past board member Bob Caesar. Bob was a lifelong community servant, New Albany City Council member, and served on the Caesars Foundation Board of Directors for many years. We were honored to be joined by so many friends and family to remember Bob and his incredible legacy.

We are now accepting applications for our Fall 2026 grant cycle. Non-profit organizations may apply for up to $25,000 in grant funding to benefit Floyd County residents. Applications must be submitted by August 31st. Please follow the link below to access our application.

Yesterday, we were honored to award $400,000 in grants to 33 incredible nonprofit organizations that are making a real difference in the lives of Floyd County residents. Together, these organizations are strengthening our community through education, the arts, health, human services, economic opportunity, and more.

Thank you to Indiana University Southeast for being such a wonderful host! A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Grants Committee, Board of Directors, and community partners for their thoughtful stewardship throughout this process. And congratulations to each of our grant recipients! We can't wait to see the impact your work will have in the months ahead!

Kicking off our Spring 2026 grants cycle with an incredible group of community leaders! Over the next several weeks, this group will dig deep into nearly 50 applications for funding from local non profits. We’re grateful for the time, thoughtfulness, and care our Grants Committee brings to this process, investing in ideas that make Floyd County stronger. 💛

We were proud to be the title sponsor of Prosser Alumni Association’s annual alumni banquet! Since 2023, the Caesars Foundation has provided $115,000 in career readiness scholarships to graduating seniors entering he workforce. Congratulations to all the alumni honorees!

Fun was had by all at the 9th annual Caesars Foundation of Floyd County FamFest today, produced by the Kentucky Derby Festival and held at the Floyd County Family YMCA. It’s Derby time! We hope you get out and enjoy all the season has to offer!

A major investment in Southern Indiana’s future took flight today. We were proud to join Vincennes University, Prosser Career Education Center, and the Clark Regional Airport to celebrate the announcement of the Southern Indiana Aviation Technology Center which will expand hands-on training opportunities and help prepare the next generation of aviation professionals right here at home.

The Caesars Foundation of Floyd County is honored to support this vision with a lead $500,000 commitment to create new career pathways for local students and strengthen our region’s workforce.
