Starting June 1, I-65 will fully close between I-264 (Watterson Expressway) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street) while crews demolish and begin rebuilding part of the new deck and superstructure of three key bridges.

๐Ÿšง During the closure, traffic will be detoured west to Iโ€‘264 (Georgia Davis Powers Expressway).

Plan ahead and know your route before you go. Navigation apps will help guide drivers along the best available routes in real time.

Last day ! Enjoy your summer !

It's the last day of school!

As another successful school year comes to a close, NAFCS would like to thank our students, families, staff, and community for a wonderful year of learning, growth, and achievement.

We hope everyone has a fun, safe, and relaxing summer break filled with great memories. Thank you for being part of the NAFCS family, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another great year in the fall!

While many locations in northern Kentucky and southern Indiana will remain dry through the weekend, there will be scattered showers and storms across southern Kentucky each day, with the best chances for rain expected this afternoon through tonight. Drier, less humid weather is expected next week with seasonable temperatures.

Beginning tomorrow night, May 29, crews will conduct 20-minute rolling stoppages on eastbound and westbound I-64 in Floyd County to accommodate utility relocation work. Work is expected to be complete early Saturday morning.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ This closure will allow crews to accelerate their work and save more than a year of additional construction delays.

๐Ÿšง Through traffic will be detoured west to Iโ€‘264 (Georgia Davis Powers Expressway).

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following areas, Clark
IN, Floyd, Harrison IN, Scott IN and Washington IN and Kentucky,
including the following areas, Jefferson, Jessamine, Madison,
Oldham, Shelby and Woodford.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Incoming clusters of storms producing heavy downpours creates
the potential for flooding in isolated areas later this
evening.

๐Ÿ“Klerner Lane - Floyd Co.

On or after Monday, June 1, crews will close Klerner Lane over I-265 to complete a bridge rehabilitation project in Floyd County. Intermittent overnight lane and shoulder closures will be used on I-265 at Klerner Lane while work is in progress.
