‼️Road Closure‼️
Interstate 22 Westbound is currently shutdown at the Glenfield Exit MM61 due to the roadway conditions . Anyone traveling this direction will need to turn around. Please continue to drive cautiously as the roads still have ice on them.

‼️Roadway Update‼️
Troopers are still out assisting vehicles that have become stuck on the ice on Interstate 22 in Benton County. Most highways in the Northern part of our district (US 45/US72) are in bad condition. Still lots of ice, lots of trees down and bridges frozen. As the temperature begins to fall and it gets dark please follow these tips and stay safe.

-If you are on the roadways use extreme caution.
-Buckle Up…Drive slow.
-Make sure your vehicle has plenty of gas.
-Slow down when approaching bridges.
-Watch for first responders flashing lights. Crews are still working on fallen trees and downed utilities .
-If you see flashing lights slow down and move over when it’s safe to do so.
-Watch for trees/limbs in the roadway or hanging low over the roadway.
-Watching for downed power/utility cables.
-Dress appropriate in case you become stuck.
-Try and keep your phone charged up in case of an emergency.

‼️Frozen Roadways‼️

Most Highways/Interstates in Troop F have some ice on them. Several are completely covered with ice. Please continue to stay off the roadways when possible. Troopers have responded to multiple accidents and vehicles that have lost control and gotten stuck. Stay warm and stay safe!

‼️Traffic Advisory ‼️

The new section of Hwy 15 between New Albany and Ecru will be opened today. There is also a new red light installed at the intersection of Hwy 15 and County Road 101 near Dollar General. Drivers in the area please use caution.
