Keeping Nevada City accessible for everyone ♿🚶‍♀️
As part of our commitment to maintaining safe and accessible sidewalks, the Nevada City Police Department is working to enforce municipal code regulations regarding A-frame signs placed in public walkways.

While we embrace and appreciate the creativity and character these signs can add to our downtown, sidewalks must remain clear and accessible for all community members, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, mobility devices, and strollers.

We appreciate the cooperation of our local businesses and community members as we work together to ensure Nevada City remains welcoming and accessible for everyone.

Thank you for helping keep our sidewalks safe and navigable for all.
