We are open today, Tuesday, including the food pantry, otherwise the FRC is closed this week for spring break, April 6-10. There is no kids movement classes or adult yoga this week. Thank you.

This Friday, Join us for a Family Book Swap! We will have food and drink, activities and good company. Bring books to share and take new books home. 3:00-5:30 in the Oak Tree Lodge on the San Juan Ridge.

Oak Tree food pantry will be undergoing facility upgrades so please help spread the word about the following details:

* The pantry will be fully closed the week of March 2nd- March 6th.

* Beginning March 10th, we will have a temporary room set up for food distribution. This room is on the Oak Tree campus across from the lodge. There will be signage to help with directions on campus.

This temporary move will be in place until renovations are complete in the original building. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we make these changes to better our services.

Our office will be closed most of the winter break, December 22 -January 2, except for being open on those Tuesdays, December 23 and 30 with regular services and the food pantry. Hope you and yours are warm, well and happy as we go into the new year.

Hello families, Please join us for an Elves' Workshop and Open House, Friday December 12th, 3:00-5:30. We will have gift making and wrapping and food and drink. The afterschool program from Grizzly Hill School will be leading Carols. there will be complimentary holiday photos in front of our decorated hearth, which includes a frame to decorate. hope to see you then.

The next Family Forum monthly parenting group is coming up, Tuesday, December 9th. 5:30-7:30pm, at the Oak Tree FRC, 18847 Oak Tree Road. Childcare and meals provided, these sessions are always free and open to all parents and caregivers. Our topic is Including Our Kids in Family Nutrition & Meals.

The intentions of this ongoing group are to encourage togetherness and harmony within a family, and to provide opportunities for belonging through education, peer support and family engagement. We practice attending to our own wellbeing as much as to that of our family's.
Our parenting group meets on one Tuesday a month with a different topic.

Hope folks are warm and eating well this holiday, The FRC is thankful to be able to be here and providing support to our community. We are closed the rest of this week and will be back next week.
Remember there will be a meal served on Thanksgiving at the NSJ Community Center from 3-6pm.

These sessions are always free with meals and childcare provided. Our focus is to provide information, understanding and a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to connect and be supported. Our sessions are topical and informational, not instructional. The topics primarily come from the input of parents and caregivers. Please reach out if you have any questions.
