Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything to protect them.

This week, Hilltop Fire Company #2 proudly recognizes and thanks our brothers and sisters of the Stanhope-Netcong American Legion Ambulance Corps (SNALAC) during National EMS Week.

Day and night, EMS providers answer the call with compassion, professionalism, and dedication — often during someone’s worst moment. Their commitment to protecting and caring for our community does not go unnoticed.

Thank you for everything you do for the residents of Netcong, Stanhope, and the surrounding communities. We are proud to serve alongside you.

Turns out fighting fires and playing dodgeball are two VERY different skill sets.

Members of Hilltop Fire Co. #2 participated in today’s charity dodgeball tournament hosted by the Netcong F.O.P. to benefit the One Step Closer Animal Rescue OSCAR.
We didn’t win very much… but we survived with only minor bruises to our pride.

During National Police Week, the members of Hilltop Fire Company #2 would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the officers of the Netcong Police Department for their dedication, professionalism, and service to our community each and every day.

Whether responding alongside us on emergencies, keeping our residents safe, or simply being there when needed most, your commitment does not go unnoticed. We are proud to work alongside such a dedicated group of men.

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our 1st Annual Pancake Breakfast at Hilltop Fire Company. The turnout was incredible, and it truly means a lot to see our community come together and support your local firefighters.

A special thank you to our generous sponsors, Palumbo’s Barbershop and World Class Barbershop, for helping make this event possible. Your support played a big role in the success of the day.

We’d also like to thank our neighboring fire/EMS departments who stopped by to support us— Hackettstown Fire Department, Wharton Fire Department, Antique Fire Association of New Jersey, Roxbury Township Fire Department, Stanhope-Netcong American Legion Ambulance Corps (SNALAC),

Behind every emergency response is a calm, professional voice guiding the way. Our dispatchers at the Morris County Communications Center are the critical first link in the chain of survival—handling calls, gathering vital information, and ensuring help is sent quickly and efficiently.
