Congratulations to our Volunteer Koa Lyu, who is a full-time firefighter and water rescue specialist. Koa was awarded the Oregon State Medal of Valor for a water rescue in January for a stranded surfer. Incredible work!

Our dear friends, Captain Tim Mayne and Bonnie Mayne, retired after 13 years with Netarts-Oceanside Fire District. Captain Mayne has been our Chaplain, a Firefighter, Duty Officer and Emergency Medical Responder. Bonnie has served as the Volunteer Association Treasurer. Tim and Bonnie are continuing their great work with Hospice and with the Oceanside Chapel. THANK YOU for your time and dedication to the communities of Oceanside and Netarts!
