Last night Engine 2 and the Tanker responded to pond Hill to assist with a fully involved barn fire. Crews assisted with suppression and overhaul before being released by command.

In the early hours of the morning the Rescue responded to I80 to assist 177 with an MVA

Last night at 18:47 crews were dispatched for a MVA with entrapment on Rt 93 in the area of the Duck Pond Hill. Rescue 161 arrived on scene followed shortly after by Rescue 122 from Columbia county to find a 1 car MVA vehicle vs tree. A door pop was performed to gain access to the driver. The driver was removed from the vehicle and placed in the care of EMS. Also on the scene was 159 fire police.

We are all set up and ready to go at Briggs Farm Blues Festival. We are raffling off an Orion Cooker donated by Coles Hardware in Berwick. We have a Martin Guitar donated by Martin Guitar and we are running a 50/50 raffle. We will be here all weekend and look forward to seeing you here.

Yesterday afternoon Station 161 was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Overlook rd. Rescue 161 immediately went in route from Salem Twp where it was attending a parade. Engine and Tanker responded a short time later. Crews arrived to find a large tractor with fire in the engine compartment. The bumper line off the engine was deployed and the fire was quickly extinguished.
