Sons of The American Legion Squadron 266 sends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Lt. Col. George Hardy. As the last Tuskegee Airman fighter pilot, his courage and service inspire us all. May he rest in peace.

Hardy, a lieutenant colonel, became the youngest Tuskegee fighter pilot at 19, and was among the first Black military pilots in the United States.
