🌪️ The Midnight Cyclones had their very first Career Chat today! We welcomed a nurse from Vital Care of the Four States who gave students an inside look at the world of nursing, infusions, and caring for patients. 🩺💉
We loved seeing our students ask questions, make real-world connections, and learn about a career right here in our community. What a great way to kick off our Career Chats! 💙

NMS will host a Grandparents' Day event on September 15th from 5 - 6:30 pm. All NMS students are welcome to attend with their grandparents and enjoy all the fun planned!! ❤️

Today in Science class, the Crimson Comets learned all about working in groups and set their expectations for group work this year! 🧪

Students started by working together to decide what is most important to them when working as a group. Then, they put those expectations into practice during our Notecard Tower Challenge!

Building Expectations Day! Setting our kids up for success!

Today was all about clarity, connection, and a little bit of fun! Our students
rotated throughout the building, learning and practicing our behavior expectations in different settings. We know that kids are most successful when they know exactly what is expected of them-and our staff is working hard to make those expectations clear, consistent, and achievable.

We're excited for a great year at NMS!
We're teaching the expectations, building relationships, and giving our kids the tools they need to have a successful day at school every day!
