Accepting applications for 1 bedroom apartment, available now for elderly/disabled/handicap persons. Unfortunately NHA is not emergency housing.

Rent can range from $0-$510, based on income.

Applications can be picked up at 118 S. 6th street, Neodesha, Ks 66757. Applications available on the front door for after hours pick up.

Must submit a complete application, pass a criminal background check, and credit check (cannot owe prior landlords or utilities, not based on score), and submit 3 positive references.

Office hours are M-F, 9:30am-3:00pm, closed for lunch from 11:30am-1:00pm. Equal opportunity housing provider.

Maintenance has cleared the walk ways and layed ice melt. With the changes in forecast happening, please bare with us as we do what we can.

Thank you to our tenants so far that are continuing to drip water and conserve their heating units.

Please please please be sure to leave a faucet dripping and open sink cabinet doors.

We will clear sidewalks as soon as inclement weather is SAFE and suitable to do so. There are 9 properties an it does take time to make the rounds.

It is going to be COLD outside. It will likely still be chilly inside. Keep thermostats set the same as you always would. Cranking the heat up to 80 will overwork your heat unit, it will over heat and shut down, and you will then have no heat. We will be at the mercy of outside contractors that service the entire town, traveling to get parts in a snow storm, or worse… having to order parts that could take days to arrive. Also, cranking up the heat and overworking the unit uses a LOT more energy and your utility bill will increase.

Neodesha Housing Authority has multiple 1 bedroom apartments available with no waiting list.
💲 Rent is based on income and determined through an application process. (Typically 30% of income, some deductions may apply). Utilities are tenant paid.
✅ Fridge and stove included.
💥NO WAITING LIST currently for this apartment.
🧾Application process applies and must pass a credit check (looks for past due utilities/landlords, not score) and background check. MUST have positive rental references. Processing times can vary depending on verification approvals.
