Nelson Volunteer Fire Company The Nelson Volunteer Fire Company is station number 18 located in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. to 9 p.m. We are always looking for new members.

Permanently closed.

We have five apparatus; Engine 18-2, Patrol 18-4, Tanker 18-5, Ambulance 18-6 and Ambulance 18-7. We protect and serve Nelson, Farmington Township, and some of Lawrence Township. If you are interested in volunteering to help your community, send a private message to our page, or stop in to the station on Monday nights from 6:30 p.m. Anybody 14 and older can submit an application.

Monday night driver training: two of our newer drivers that have recently been signed off on the patrol truck, have moved on to the big trucks now! They practiced basic maneuvering and backing.

The Nelson township building is currently open to anybody that needs shelter, the fire department is also being staffed.
