Today, we bid farewell to Col. Shaun P. Loomis, whose leadership strengthened the Nevada Test and Training Range and advanced the readiness of U.S. and coalition forces.

His commitment to innovation, integration and mission effectiveness helped ensure the Nevada Test and Training Range remained at the forefront of preparing the next generation of warfighters. We thank Col. Loomis for his dedicated service and lasting impact on the mission, Airmen and partners of the Nevada Test and Training Range.

For 30 years, the 328th Weapons Squadron has been the ultimate proving ground for tactical experts in space operations.

In 1996, the USAF Weapons School established its Space Division to lead the integration of space operations in the school’s multi-domain training syllabi. After the division was dissolved in 2003, its core mission of being the premiere training environment for Space Force and Air Force weapons officers continued under the 328th WPS. These elite graduates return to the joint force as the ‘instructors of instructors,’ ready to integrate combat capabilities across all domains to defeat modern threats.

As we celebrate three decades of excellence, we honor the tacticians who remain Humble, Approachable, and Credible—and look forward to the next 30 years of securing the ultimate high ground.

Today, we bid farewell to Brig. Gen. Lawrence Sullivan, whose leadership strengthened combat readiness across the 57th Wing, supported major combat operations and helped develop the next generation of warfighters. His commitment to advancing training, integration and mission effectiveness left a lasting impact on the wing and the Airmen who serve within it.

We also welcome the new 57th Wing Commander Col. Scott Mills as the wing’s new commander and look forward to the future under his leadership.

Fight’s on, WIN!

🇺🇸 For nearly 250 years, the Stars and Stripes has told America's story.

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States. Today, we honor the generations of Americans who have served under it and the values it represents.

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, Airmen continue a legacy of service, sacrifice and commitment to defending our nation.
