Today we said goodbye to one of our own, Tom Sowatske. Tom was a former member of our Town of Port Edwards First Responder Family, and recently retired after serving 16 years on the Nekoosa Fire Department. Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will truly be missed.

Great day for our fundraiser, couldn't ask for better weather. If your going to Nekoosa Pumpkin Fest tomorrow come support our group. We are parking cars in the field behind Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Dan Goodness even had help parking cars from a couple of feathered friends.😄

It’s that time of year! 🍁🎃🍁 Come support us at our Annual Fundraiser. We will be parking cars at Nekoosa Pumpkin Fest in conjunction with Sacred Heart Church. Look for us behind the church. Also on a positive note, our lots are high and dry, no worries about getting stuck in the mud.

It is with a heavy heart that I post this. The First Responder community has lost one of their own. Josh Doherty was a nice young man that I had the privilege to work with for a short time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Teri, Phil and the rest of his family. Thoughts also go out to his Town of Armenia Fire Fighter family. Rest In Peace Josh.
