State Bound! ♥️🖤

We'll be sending off our State Track & Field qualifiers Today, June 4 at 3:30pm! The send-off will begin outside the fieldhouse, where athletes will be escorted by Neillsville PD to 5th Street, down to the gazebo, and then south on Hewett as they head out of town. Come cheer them on and fill the streets with Warrior pride! 🎉

State Qualifiers:
• Laylah Walk—Pole Vault
• Eden Marg—High Jump
• Brynn Heck—200m Dash
• Boys 4x100m Relay—Evan Hart, Micah Ziebell, Zion Jones, and Liam King.
Alternates: Marcus Luchterhand and Collin Knoff

This evening, we delivered a concise presentation to Neillsville Fire And Rescue regarding mass casualty incidents, and provided them with an opportunity to inspect the ambulances and pose questions, thereby fostering excellent team collaboration.

Today, a few of our Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) conducted demonstrations on cardiac care for the high school Biology and Anatomy classes. We appreciate Mrs. Stanley for extending an invitation and contributing to the students' educational experience.

This evening, St. Mary's Church in Neillsville hosted a 'Blue Mass' ceremony to bless Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, and First Responders, and to consecrate their vehicles.
Gratitude is extended for the acknowledgement and appreciation of their efforts.
A special thank you is offered to those responsible for preparing and serving the meal.

Between Siren and Silence

The night splits open with a wail of red and blue,
tires biting rain-slick streets, the city’s breath held in the hollow between heartbeats.

We arrive where chaos has no name yet, hands steady, voices low,
turning fear into small, precise motions.
A pulse found is a promise kept, a breath given is a bridge back to the living.

We carry strangers as if they were our own, through the narrow door between now and never.
When the siren fades and the street swallows our shadow,
we leave no footprints, only the quiet hope
that somewhere, someone wakes to see the morning.
