The Negaunee Senior Center will be having a ham luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24. This ham luncheon will include scalloped potatoes, vegetables, bread, and dessert. We ask for reservations by noon the day before so we know how much food to prepare. Since this will the first month our small staff has put on a luncheon we will be offering a limited number of meals. We will also have a limited number of take-out meals. Unfortunately, we cannot offer delivery at this time. The cost is $7 for seniors and $8 for the general public. Call (906)475-6266 to reserve your meal!

The U.P. Regional Blood Center will be here, at the Negaunee Senior Center, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday June 30 for our blood drive. They are the sole provider of blood for all 13 hospitals in the Upper Peninsula and each donation can save up to three lives. Donors must wait 8 weeks between donations, be at least 17 years old, be free of flu, colds, or sore throats and must weigh at least 110 pounds. RSVP’s encouraged, walk-ins welcome. Craft and Chat is back at 12:30 p.m. on Monday June 15. This event hosted by SAIL provides a space for community and socialization while crafting. We provide some options for crafts such as coloring and beading. We also welcome those who wish to bring in a personal project to work on. Reservations are encouraged so we can provide an accurate number of crafting supplies, but walk-ins are welcome.
