Saturday evening the TNFD held its annual appreciation dinner and banquet. A way to say thank you to spouses and significant others for putting up with having to leave at sometimes the most inconvenient times.We also made some award presentations. FF and EMR Joe Lontcoski was awarded EMR of the year. FF Jared Wanta was awarded the FF of the year. Service awards went to FF Quinten S Keller and Riley Fitzgerald for their 5 years of service each. And Captain Nate Simington was awarded the Chiefs Award for 2025. Congratulations to all and thank you for your dedication serving our community and other local communities.

Tonight TNFD members were able to train with the new extrication tools that were recently purchased. There new techniques that were also demonstrated by members who participated in extraction classes earlier this year. We all learned something new and help build confidence in our new tools.

With the full support of the Town of Neenah board and donations that were received by the Town of Neenah Fire Department over the last several years, the TNFD was able to purchase new battery extrication tools. These tools will greatly enhance the TNFD rescue capabilities when the need arises. The Town of Neenah Fire Department would like to thank the Town of Neenah board members and all those who have made donations to the TNFD.

This wraps up our ride to school program for this year, but be on the lookout for communications from the schools as well as the TNFD FB page for the opportunity to enter for next year's ride to school drawing.
