Did you upgrade electronics this holiday season? Don’t just put your old phones, tablets or gaming devices in a drawer or closet to sit and be rediscovered as ancient relics in 2030.

And don't put them in your recycling or trash bin, either.

Small electronics contain lithium-ion batteries that can cause fires if handled through regular trash or recycling systems.

These devices can usually be recycled for free. Some can even be traded in for cash or discounts.

The Village of Fox Crossing recently passed a NO MOW MAY resolution to help save our pollinators such as butterflies and bees! Our residents are invited to voluntarily participate by delaying lawn-care just for the month of May (noxious weeds should still be removed).

If you are interested in helping us feed our pollinators, please register at www.byobeez.org/nomowmay and come pick up a sign at the Community Development Department at the Municipal Building on 2000 Municipal Drive. THANK YOU!
