Neely Residents, Neely Volunteer Fire Department will be having a benefit trail ride for our Fire Department Saturday, April 25th. We will be selling BBQ Chicken Plates with all the trimmings for $12.00 a plate. We will also have an auction Saturday afternoon. We are needing your support, we need help from our community to make this benefit a good one. We need auction items, dress up cakes, charcoal, and other items. Our fire department is in need of a landing zone for the helicopter to safely land on during an emergency. In the past, the helicopter would land on the parking lot between the community center and the fire department, it is getting to dangerous for them to land due to all the rocks from the parking lot flying up with the wind from the helicopter. Having this built could help save so many lives. This is a benefit to help our community and we need our community to pull together and let's make this happen.

Due to both our boys, Ray Mack and Branson being sick, I had to reschedule my appointment for Batson till tomorrow so everyone still has time to donate items for the children at the hospital. Please let me know if you wish to donate anything. Make a kid smile at Christmas that is in the hospital.... Donate for a good cause... You never know, it might be your little one that is in there.

We are still accepting donations for the Children's Hospitals in Jackson and Mobile. We have a little over 200 store bought coloring books, a little over 200 boxes of crayons, a few plush animals and Ray Dixon and Ray Mack and Branson are making 200 homemade coloring books for the children. They printed off 25 assorted pictures of Christmas and punched holes in them and placing them in folders. They are over halfway finished with assembling them. We need more donations so that we can make these children have a Merry Christmas even though they are in the hospital. We are asking for whatever you can spare, whatever you can do to bring a smile to these kids. Please let me know if you have anything that you would like to donate to the kids.
