Center at the Heights - Aging Services This is the official page for the Needham Council on Aging's Center at the Heights

The Needham Council on Aging, a town department, is located at The Center at The Heights at 300 Hillside Avenue. In cooperation with other organizations and agencies we are dedicated to serving all residents with aging service issues. Programs and services go beyond the walls of the Center at the Heights and are provided throughout the community to include health benefits counseling and social services to seniors wherever they reside.

Glenn, one of our friendly van drivers, is the guest speaker at the Kalmia Garden Club’s upcoming porgram “All About Irises”. He’ll be sharing highlights from his own garden along with practical tips for growing and caring for them! He will also be gifting some iris to some lucky attendees!

Join us in our 8th annual Step Challenge!

This year, we are stepping up our statewide goal to collectively achieve 100 Million Steps!

Here’s how it works – throughout the month of September simply take a walk (or a run) in the name of falls prevention. Use your own step counter or count each mile as 2,500 steps

All COA staff, participants, family members, friends, and community members are invited to take part.

The elevator at the Center at the Heights (CATH) has been repaired and is back in service.

All programs that were scheduled to be temporarily relocated during the elevator repair will now take place at CATH as originally scheduled.

The elevator at the Center at the Heights (CATH) is currently out of service and repairs are underway. While the elevator is unavailable, some programs scheduled for the second floor may be relocated to the first floor or canceled.

Today’s field trip is taking us to Revere Beach, where participants can stroll along the shore, grab lunch at Kelly’s Roast Beef, and enjoy the day by the ocean! Have you been on one of our trips?
