Nebraska City Police Department’s K9 Bebe has received donation of body armor

Nebraska City Police Department, NE - K9 Bebe has received a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. K9 Unit Update. For those of you that follow us know that we have been raising funds for adding a second K9 Unit to the department. We were originally contacted by an anonymous donor to match $25,000 in donations. Mike and Chris Koslosky have been long time supporters of the K9 Unit, the Nebraska City Police Department, and the entire NebraskaCity Nebraska community. While so much of their support has been private it is important to occasionally be recognized publicly. With their permission, Mike and Chris have agreed to allow us to mention them as our $25,000 anonymous matching fund donors. Every donation we received has been a blessing towards reaching our goal and this has been a community effort. Some contacted us and stated the anonymous matching fund challenge encouraged them to dig deeper on their contributions. Thank you for all you have done to support us. If you see Mike and Chris out and about please help us in giving them a very warm thank you.
