Beginning at 9:00 p.m. this evening, September 3, 2026, and lasting until 6:00 a.m. tomorrow, City of Navasota Utility Crews will be flushing the water mains and fire hydrants in Navasota to maintain the quality of our drinking water.

If you have any questions, contact the Navasota Public Works office during business hours at (936) 825-6450. For after-hours assistance, please call (936) 825-6410.

Tropical Storm Edouard is moving toward the upper Texas coast today, bringing increased moisture and the potential for heavy rainfall to our area, especially on Wednesday.

Localized flooding may be possible in low-lying and poor drainage areas, and gusty winds could also occur. Please secure loose outdoor items and remember: never drive through a flooded roadway. Turn around, don’t drown!

The Navasota Fire Department and City of Navasota are monitoring conditions and are prepared to respond as needed. Continue to monitor local weather updates and follow the Navasota Fire Department and City of Navasota for the latest information.
