Two Weeks ago, I was involved in a dog bite during an open investigation and have been out to recover. I just want to say THANK YOU to my part timers for holding down the fort while I've been out, I know it hasnt been easy and your hard work is greatly appreciated!

With that said, I am coming back to a completely full shelter. I know your hearing it from many of us throughout CT, but this is just crazy!

Please stay tuned and share our post of Adoptable dogs! Rescues if you're able to step up and pull, we would greatly appreciate that also!

Do You know me? My name is Boom Boom. I was found outside when a good samaritan found me having an issue with my collar. When my collar was taken off a tag was found with my name and an address that is in Naugatuck CT. Officers have tried to make contact at the address with no luck. If anyone has any owner information please contact the West Haven Animal Shelter 203-937-3642 any day between 8am and 3pm

Please be advised our department has been aware of this beautiful girl for a long time and keeps a close eye on her. She is FINE!
We know there are residents posting, trying to get her removed and to a rehabber.
