We are incredibly grateful to The Trust for providing our organization with a grant that allows us to purchase ballistic vest and helmets for our EMS Providers.
This equipment is more than just protective gear, it is an investment in the safety of the men and women who put themselves in harm’s way to care for others.
EMS providers are often among the first to arrive at emergencies, sometimes entering unpredictable and potentially dangerous environments. While our primary mission is to provide medical care, we cannot help others if we cannot protect ourselves. Having properly fitted ballistic vests and helmets provides our providers with an additional layer of protection when responding to situations where the threat of violence or ballistic injury may exist.
We are especially thankful to The Trust for recognizing the importance of protecting EMS personnel and for making this grant possible. This would not have been possible without your support, and we sincerely appreciate your commitment to the safety of our providers and the communities we serve.
We would also like to extend a special thank-you to Matt DaSilva from RTS Tactical for helping us make the right choices when purchasing this equipment. Matt's knowledge, professionalism, and understanding of the needs of EMS were invaluable throughout the process.
