As we wrap up another school year, I just wanted to take a moment to tell each and every one of you how proud we are of you.

This year has been filled with growth, learning, challenges, accomplishments, and memories that will stay with us for a long time. We have watched so many of you step outside of your comfort zones, gain confidence, support one another, and truly grow not only as future first responders — but as young leaders and good people.

Some of you have achieved major milestones. Some have quietly worked hard behind the scenes every single week. No matter where you are in your journey, your effort, dedication, attitude, and heart have not gone unnoticed.

What makes this program special is not just the training or activities — it’s the people. It’s the friendships, teamwork, encouragement, and family atmosphere that each of you help create. Watching you all learn, laugh, grow, and push yourselves has been one of the most rewarding things for all of us as advisors and coordinators.

Always remember: this is only the beginning.

There is so much more ahead of you. Bigger goals. Bigger opportunities. More lessons. More memories. More chances to make a difference in your communities and in the lives of others. No matter what path you choose — EMS, fire service, healthcare, law enforcement, trades, college, or something completely different — you all have incredible potential.

Keep believing in yourselves. Keep working hard. Keep supporting one another. Keep growing.

Thank you all for an amazing year and for being part of our Rescue 3 Jr. family. We are excited for everything this summer will bring and cannot wait to continue building memories, learning new skills, and growing together.

🚑💜 EMS WEEK ANNOUNCEMENT 💜🚑

In celebration of EMS Week and EMS Education Day, we are excited to officially announce the expansion of the Rescue 3 Jr. Explorer Program with our new:

⭐ JR. EXPLORER TIER (AGES 8–11) ⭐

Over the past year, we’ve had many parents ask about opportunities for younger children to become involved with our program. We’ve also seen the excitement kids have when learning about ambulances, fire trucks, first responders, and helping others in their community. Because of that, we wanted to create something designed specifically for them.

Our Jr. Explorer Tier will meet once a month for fun, hands-on activity days that introduce children to the first responder world in a safe, age-appropriate, and encouraging environment.

Activities may include:
🚑 Exploring ambulances and equipment
🔥 Fire and everyday safety lessons
🩺 Simple first aid and emergency awareness
🎯 Team-building games and activities
🤝 Learning teamwork, confidence, and leadership
🌟 Meeting first responders and mentors

At Rescue 3, we believe in building more than future first responders — we believe in building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Our program is centered around family, mentorship, leadership, compassion, and service to others.

Our Jr. Cadets and Jr. Trainees will also work alongside younger participants as mentors and role models, helping create a supportive environment where everyone grows together in a peer - to - peer environment.

This program will include family events, cookouts, community activities, and opportunities to create lasting friendships and memories.

🚑💙 NATIONAL EMS WEEK 💙🚑

This week, we proudly recognize and celebrate National EMS Week — a time dedicated to honoring the men and women of Emergency Medical Services who answer the call day and night to serve their communities.

EMS is more than ambulances and flashing lights. It is compassion during someone’s worst moment. It is teamwork, leadership, sacrifice, and the willingness to help complete strangers without hesitation. EMS professionals stand ready 24/7 to provide emergency care, comfort, and hope when people need it most.

At Rescue 3 Jr. Explorer Program, EMS Week means even more.

It reminds us why we mentor the next generation. Our program is built around teaching young people the importance of service, leadership, professionalism, and compassion for others. Through hands-on training, teamwork, community involvement, and mentorship, our members begin learning what it truly means to care for people and make a difference.

Many of our members dream of becoming EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, nurses, physicians, dispatchers, or other healthcare professionals. EMS Week is a reminder that every great provider starts somewhere — and we are proud to help our youth take those first steps.

This week, we encourage everyone to thank an EMT, paramedic, dispatcher, firefighter, nurse, or healthcare provider for the work they do every single day. Their impact reaches far beyond emergency calls — they help hold communities together.

To all EMS professionals: Thank you for your sacrifice, your dedication, and your heart for serving others.

🌟 MEMBER HIGHLIGHT 🌟

Today we are proud to recognize our Jr. Team Development Officer, Jaelynn Andrews, on her induction into the National Junior Honor Society!

This achievement reflects Jaelynn’s hard work, dedication, character, and commitment both in and out of the classroom. We are incredibly proud to see one of our members accomplish such an important milestone.

Within the Rescue 3 Jr. Explorer Program, Jaelynn serves as our Jr. Team Development Officer, where she helps encourage teamwork, positivity, leadership, and growth among fellow members. She consistently leads by example and brings a great attitude and willingness to help others.

Outside of the program, Jaelynn hopes to one day become a lawyer. She also enjoys music and has a strong interest in EMS and helping people within her community. Her passion, determination, and leadership qualities make her a standout young leader with a bright future ahead.

CONGRATULATIONS Chloe!

We are incredibly proud to recognize a huge accomplishment by one of our own — congratulations to our Jr. Captain, Chloe Rogers , on officially becoming an EMT!

Just one year ago, Chloe joined the Rescue 3 Jr. Explorer Program eager to learn, grow, and challenge herself. Over the past 12 months, we have had the privilege of watching her develop not only into a strong provider, but into a confident leader and role model for others around her. After completing her EMR in the fall, Chloe continued pushing forward and has now successfully earned her EMT certification.

Achievements like this do not happen overnight. They take dedication, sacrifice, determination, and countless hours of hard work. Chloe has consistently shown all of those qualities while continuing to grow both personally and professionally all while participating in extracurriculars with her church and taking college classes along with school. Watching her open up, gain confidence, and step into leadership has been truly rewarding for all of us.

The future is incredibly bright, and we cannot wait to see where this journey takes her next. Chloe represents exactly what the Rescue 3 Jr. Explorer Program is about — building leaders, serving the community, and investing in the future of emergency services.
