Caregivers San Diego - Public Authority Our In-Home Caregivers (Providers) assist income-eligible seniors and disabled consumers

We serve income-eligible individuals aged 65 and older, blind and/or disabled allowing them to remain safely in their homes as an alternative to institutionalization. The Public Authority REGISTRY can help match caregivers with individuals who are disabled and/or elderly and need help to live safely in their homes. Providers (IP’s) can help Consumers with approved tasks such as personal care, para

medical, protective supervision and domestic services. Providers may assist Consumers with:
Personal care
Preparing meals and feeding
Keeping the house clean
Bathing and dressing
Shopping and laundry
Paramedical services (are services that require authorization and training by a licensed healthcare professional, such as a doctor). Examples of paramedical services include:
• Administering medication or giving injections
• Blood/urine testing
• Wound care
• Catheter care and ostomy irrigation
• Any treatments requiring sterile procedures
• Enemas, digital stimulation, or the insertion of suppositories
• Tube feeding
• Suctioning

Rubbing Skin
Feeding

Domestic/house cleaning
