A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to Anheuser-Busch and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) for their generous donation of canned emergency drinking water! We also want to thank Danville Distributing Company, Inc. for delivering the pallets straight to our station.

Anheuser-Busch partners with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) to provide emergency drinking water to volunteer fire departments across the United States. Through the Emergency Drinking Water for Wildland Firefighters Program, the brewer periodically pauses b**r production to clean and can fresh drinking water. Millions of cans are distributed annually to local stations right before the summer wildfire season begins.

Clean hydration is critical for keeping our volunteer crews safe and healthy during intense, high-heat summer operations and wildland fire responses. This donation protects our team and helps free up our departments budget for other lifesaving gear.

Liberty Volunteer Fire Department’s first annual predator hunt went well. We had a great turnout, with a total of 21 teams! We would like to thank everyone that participated in the hunt and showed up to help support our fire department. The winners and additional photos of check-in are pictured below.
